Teresa de la Hera is researcher in videogames and new media, web designer, graphic designer, video creative and theatre director.

research

She is PhD Candidate at the Center for the Study of Digital Games and Play (Utrecht University), The Netherlands, working on the PhD Dissertation "Persuasive Structures in Advergames". She also belonged to the research group Novos Medios (New Media) from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, between 2006 and 2012.

Teresa works as a freelance web designer, graphic designer and video creative since 2005.

In 2009 founded with Manu Lago, La Tia Mardalina. Between 2009 and 2012 La Tia Mardalina offered support to performance companies working with new stage languages. The first service offered was the distribution of shows, but is supplemented with production services, press, web and graphic design, promotional video creation, set design, lighting design and technical support.

theatre director

Between 2007 and 2010 Teresa de la Hera directed several theatre shows being part of the Spanish company Cía d2, where she also has worked as video creative.

She is PhD Candidate at the Center for the Study of Digital Games and Play ( Utrecht University ),The Netherlands, working on a dissertation on Persuasive Strategies in Advergames. She also belonged to the research group Novos Medios (New Media) from the University of Santiago de Compostela , Spain, between 2006 and 2012.Between October 2010 and February 2011 she was visiting scholar at the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands).
